What's involved in switching a reseller account to the new shared hosting environment?

I'd like to know more about the switch over to the new hosting environment. I have a reseller account (which I seem to mention all the time) and so I am in charge of about 50 sites, plus a few other clients with larger sites that I had sign up on their own. Since we can choose to switch over to the new environment, does this mean that I can switch one of my shared reseller accounts and not another?

I ask because we have been getting a lot of FTP errors lately with our software (Coda and Transmit). They are both OSX native apps. A lot of the errors we get are "Connection timed out" when we are in the middle of uploading files, but we remain connected to the server. We try again, and its fine, or we delete the file in question off the server, and upload it again in seconds. No time out. It seems pretty random.

Anyway, we'd love to upgrade everything to the new system ASAP, but there are a few known issues with the PHP 5.1 to 5.2 migration that we need to test and suss out, so, more than likely, it will be a slow switch over.

Thanks.

As a reseller, you can create a new account any time, at no extra charge, to use as a sandbox and experiment with the new hosting environment described here: http://blog.modwest....oduction.html
